Chattarati is a new Chattanooga-centric group blog. We’re inspired by the pioneers at Gothamist who truly live up to their tagline “everything worth knowing about New York.” We’re inspired by Chattanooga’s own vibrant blogging community and neighbors like Knoxify and Nashvillest. Ultimately, we’re inspired by the belief that we can help make our great city just a little bit better.

Chattarati will strive to bring a unique perspective to everything from breaking news to local politics and economics to events and the arts. We’re also intent on creating conversations and community. But never fear, we promise not to take ourselves—or Chattanooga—too seriously. We’re bringing a healthy dose of satire and sarcasm to the table.
