Christian Höferle is a contributing writer for Chattarati, focused primarily on German-American commentary.
Christian Höferle has been working in the media business since 1996, specializing on business-to-business and business-to-consumer communicatons. A native of Germany, he began his career in journalism at publishing company Entertainment Media Verlag in Munich, Germany.
While at EMV, he served in various functions and leadership positions, overseeing editorial and production teams of up to 20 staff members. He left the company in 2004 as Co-Editor-in-Chief to persue new career opportunities in the United States. In Q2/2004 he founded hoeferle Communications, a reporting and PR company, serving clients in the U.S., Germany and the UK. During that time he also consulted several companies and trade organisations in the media industry.
In early 2009 Christian founded Höferle Consulting, a bilingual & bicultural service company, located in Cleveland, TN. The consultancy provides simple solutions for the European transition into the American business culture and the American way of life.
Christian serves as Vice President of Community Outreach for Ocoee Region Cultural Services (ORMS), a non-profit which operates The Mosaic Center and that is dedicated to promoting community awareness and acceptance of diversity among its citizens. He is also a member of Mainstreet Cleveland.
