Five Chattanooga Area Players Named Reebok Phenoms
Five Chattanooga area prep players have been selected to the Varsity Sports Media’s Tennessee Football magazine 2008 Reebok Tennessee Football Phenoms. The Reebok Phenoms signify the very best high school players in the state, regardless of classification.
Local girl teaches her dog to ride a bike
Ringgold Middle School student Kierra Conforti rides around town with her labrador-retriever mix, Clifford, saddled with her on a bike. The dog is about 7 years old, she said, and has had a year’s practice performing the locomotive feat, which she trained him to do. Conforti said she plans to travel to California at a yet-to-be-determined date to be on the television show “Pet Star” where she and Clifford will compete for a chance to win $2,500.
Commentary: Perhaps their new green initiative is starting to bring in the... well, you get it.
