  6. David Morton on Dec. 23, 2008

my grievance is when Google asks me, "Did you mean: chatterati"

  7. Charles Allison on Dec. 23, 2008

What about when Google asks you "Did you mean: Chatter?" Google knows what you make Morton, and surely you mean Chatter.

My grievance is that Festivus should have a song. Who will compose the first Festivus song? Do I have to do it myself?

  9. Stephanie on Dec. 24, 2008

My grievance is that the topic is too narrow. I mean, what's not to like about chattarati? Seriously ;P What other topic could we bitch about?

@Charles - Next time you visit my McMansion, you'll notice I have quadruple-ply toilet paper recycled from C-notes and Chatter mag.

@John - We've been waiting on you to complete your magnum opus for quite some time. What's the hold up G?

@Stephanie - I'm sure we can come up with plenty to bitch about in the Scenic City. Consider the thread open to general dissent.

    Happy Festivus C*Stars

This whole debate has been a small version of Dumb 'n Dumber. The original question was grievance with Chattarati, are there any? although, I will admit it was slightly entertaining.

I have no grievance with Chattanooga and this is my first introduction to "Chatterati."
I have lived here a long time and have always received kindness, support, appreciation,
welcome, and wonderful services. People who gripe about Chattanooga or any of her
facets should just stop, listen to themselves, and try to find something to do to help
alleviate anything they find that is wrong or troublesome. Chattanooga has everything-
great music (CSO), great natural splendors, great educational facilities, some of the best
scenery and weather in the world, and wonderful people. Lighten up, gripers, and look
around you and you'll see wonders! Also great restaurants, like the "Epicurean" in East
    Ridge. Thank you, beloved city!

Here's you a current shot. TGI OVER, Chattanooga RIVERBEND 09.
Just finished working as a volunteer at Riverbend, the stories and grievences for that would take pages. On Chattanooga's part, directly - After 8 days (8, count them) of tacet approval allowing illegal parking all over town due to parking shortages and parking lot gouging (some $10.00) per night, the city in its infinate wisdom, without any prior warning started towing parked cars. The fees to get your car back, I was told by one, was $140. A friend, who was also working as a volunteer, paid $201. This after the police department couldn't tell who had towed his car, and had to go to 3 different places to find it. The explaination from the towing company, the city gets $125, the rest for towing and storage. I guess no one noticed those cars all week, except the parking lot owners.
