Who will take the credit? Ron Littlefield without a doubt.

Who deserves the credit? Bob Corker, Phil Bredesen, Lamar Alexander and Zach Wamp. Out of those, Wamp and Alexander will be the most vocal since they're up for re-election.

I've worked with several teams of folks from the city, county and state for years now on Economic Dev. initiatives here. Corker, the workaholic/overachiever that he is, likely pushed a pulled us the most - but there are too many for one to take singular credit.

I saw at least thirty people at the press conference today that I've worked who their main jobs were to get an an event like this to happen. Many got burnt out along the way. I also worked with another good many who were experts in their field who said landing an auto plant in Chattanooga would "never happen." Never is always a sucker's bet - and I'm glad they eventually lost that bet.

Wamp pushed, Corker pushed, the last several mayors, Chamber admins, county admins... thousands and thousands of hours and far more dollars - and it happened.

I think I deserve some (if not all) the credit. For years, I've been saying to myself, "D, if anything good ever happens, you should stand up and take a bow. So... you're welcome, Chattanooga.

I hear Hezbollah is taking credit.
