EPB. "Fiber to the home" for the Block. I love the idea of an all fiber network and I love ANYTHING that will create competition in the High-Speed Internet/Cable TV market. A little competition never hurt anyone... it forces you to be better.

If I lived in Chattanooga proper, I'd go with EPB.

I've used Comcast in the past and cannot stand their horrid customer service. I am glad to be able to have DirecTV!

Very curious to see how EPB will bundle/price their packages. More than likely would go with them, but have to make a choice now for new service.

Fiber ... Fiber ... Fiber ... I just want to see how much it's gonna cost me.

Bandwidth limitations on high-speed internet connections are mostly artificial these days, so a fiber connection is only as good as the restrictions put on it. I'm interested, but I'll stay with Comcast until I hear how EPB works out for early adopters.

Comcast is the worst company I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with. I would gladly pay double comcasts prices to have a local company like epb. I do a lot of gaming and even recently ended a 5 year relationship with comcast to get dsl. Its a sacrifice but at least I don't have to call att every month to fix my bill.

EPB, because they're the evil I don't know yet.

EPB, 'cause I'd rather my dollars stay in Chattanooga.

I think that when Obama is finished taking 50-60% of our income for his highly inefficient socialized medicine plan, we'll all be feeling grateful to go back to Rabbit ears if we still have a home to put them in.

If fiber is affordable, you know that's the choice. And then the possibilities are limitless. Video online streaming and IP television will be a watchable reality.

The fact that we have competition coming into Chattanooga will make broadband access more affordable. No matter what your feelings are towards particular providers, competition can only help the Scenic City and lower barriers of entry for getting broadband.

Pew's research shows that the broadband gap drives web consumption. Once broadband is affordable, more people will have access to the web.

I've lived in four cities where only Comcast was available. I'm outright giddy at the idea of having choices and not dealing with the nightmare of Comcast customer service ever again. Even though EPB is new to this game, I don't know if it's possible to be worse than Comcast.

Unless something changes, I expect to be signing up for EPB as soon as it is available in my area. But the primary driver for me is the Internet service, and I will have to see if bundling the video and/or telephone with it makes sense.

Wow, nobody likes Comcast. Let it be said that they do a lot of good in the community, if not in customer service for their products/services.

I'm going with whoever is cheapest.

For now I will stay with Direct TV. EPB prices are not better as they advertised last year. Lets see what happends??
