Our family loves the riverfront playground at Ross's Landing because it's a great place for the girls to play and we can still enjoy nice views and follow it up with a walk on the pier.

I'm with Darla on how beautiful the Pocket is. Lovely place to take the family and experience nature.

For us, it's Coolidge Park. We always park in one of the Unum lots at 4th/Cherry and walk over the WSB. The kids love the carousel and the "water animals" (fountain). That's followed in a close 2nd place with Chickamauga Nat'l Park. It's such a great place to ride bikes and it's very close to the house.

Fall Creek Falls is just a short drive. I asked my wife to marry me on top of a waterfall there.

I had never been to Chester Frost until yesterday. I was very pleasantly surprised. Savage Gulf is an old favorite for day hikes.

Lula Lake! Too bad it's only open a few times a year. What a gem! I took a friend, who had never been before, and he was taken with its beauty. I wish the land trust were open year round.
