This weekend's main event is Chattanooga's first-ever short film festival, but as always, there's a lot to choose from.

At 7:00 p.m., a short awards ceremony will be followed by the premiere of Thick as Thieves, a feature film shot entirely in Chattanooga. Tickets for the Thick as Theives screening are $15, and all-day passes are available for $20. In addition to the film screenings, the event will feature a street festival on Broad Street during the afternoon with live music, industry vendors, food and drinks.

I enjoyed this event. Chattanooga also has the Rebel International Film Festival which is a predecessor to this event. The 1st RIFF was in 2005. This is not the 1st ever international film festival in chattanooga
