First Friday Five Raised Over $700

Thanks to you, our first experiment in local online fundraising, First Friday Five, raised over $700 for Girls Inc. of Chattanooga.


The money raised will be used to give scholarships for seven at-risk or low-income girls to attend their spring break science camp. There were 44 online donations, 26 of which were for $5 while the rest ranged from $10 - $100. The social media community in Chattanooga came together in a big way for a great cause, and we're looking forward to seeing this project continue in the months ahead.


We received several great suggestions about who to partner with for the next First Friday Five— so stay tuned.
